COVID-19

How we are operating during the COVID-19 crisis

During this extremely difficult time we are working hard to ensure that our clients and their loved ones are treated with sensitivity, dignity and respect while ensuring that every step of the funeral process is as safe as we can make it.

We are able to offer meetings at our branches for up to two family members at a time, by appointment only. Other options to communicate with us include phone, email and online platforms such as Zoom. Please contact us to find out more.

Guidance from the government - attending a funeral

In summary:

  • Funeral ceremonies must have no more than 30 people attending, whether indoors or outdoors. This number does not include funeral staff.
  • The actual number of people able to attend will depend on how many people can be safely accommodated within the premises with social distancing. In some cases, this may be fewer than 30 people.
  • Commemorative events that are linked to a person’s death, such as stone setting ceremonies, ash scattering or a gathering after the funeral, must have no more than 15 people attending. This limit applies both indoors and outdoors and does not include anyone working.
  • Crematoriums and burial grounds will be open to the public in accordance with local restrictions
